Marriage Encounter Weekends

The Marriage Encounter Weekend is designed to help married couples communicate more intimately with one another in order to deepen and enrich their relationship. The weekend is free from everyday routines, distractions and tensions. An atmosphere is created where the couple can concentrate exclusively on one another in a private and confidential environment. A series of presentations that touch on many aspects of marriage is given by three couples and a Catholic Priest. After each presentation, the couple has time in the privacy of their own room for personal sharing using the communication techniques learned on the weekend. There is no required "Group Sharing."

The weekend starts at 8:00 pm on Friday and runs until around 4:00 pm on Sunday. All faith expressions are welcome!

FOR ANYONE

The Reunion is an opportunity to invite another couple, priest or religious that you believe deserves to experience a weekend. Your guests will be shown a short video during our dialogue time so they can get a glimpse of the weekend.


FOR NEWLY ENCOUNTERED COUPLES

Your presence at the Reunion is highly essential. It's a chance to continue your journey and get to know the people you shared your weekend with as well as meet many community couples who have walked the same path in their Marriage Encounter experience. It's a good way to keep you on track and an opportunity to learn more about dialogue.


FOR COMMUNITY COUPLES

The Reunion is an opportunity to show your support of Northeast Kansas Marriage Encounter weekends. It's a chance to recall your weekend, refresh your dialogue and catch up with each other. The excitement from the newly encountered couples is both invigorating and contagious.
